the get ready get thru website tells us we need a torch and spare batteries in our survival kit
I am going to design and make an emergency light that is portable for my survival kit. The website also says we need 3 litres of water person per day for at least three days so my family needs 45 litres.

Memoir
The day the chickens drove
I rushed out of john black public school (my old school). I Only had one thing on my mind. We were getting chickens!! This was probably the best day EVER!! I sprinted to our vw van as fast as I could, jumped in our car as fast as I could jumped in our car, my brother and sister were already in.I said "we ready to go!?"/"yep we're ready to go" so we drove out of town to the farm shop and picked up our chicks. We hopped back into the car and drove away. I had the box of chicks on my lap. I opened the box and they tried jumping out!! I shut the lid swiftly and I put my finger in one of the holes in the box and then OUCH!! THey had pecked my finger thinking it was a worm so I didn't put my finger in the box again. Once we got home and we placed the chicks in our playroom they scuttled around and then we picked them up and put the chicks in the grass they wandered around a bit it was hard for them because they were as tall as the grass!! Afterwards we put them back into the playroom and then put them in model cars. We did races with them on them and now they love cars they sometimes hop in our car!!
